A man has been charged with two attempted murders following a stabbing in Rochester.
Police descended on the town’s high street at its junction with Star Hill after being called to a serious assault.
A 19-year-old man was flown to a London hospital with serious injuries.
He was treated for a stab wound and police say he is now in a stable condition.
Another man suffered minor injuries during the assault at about 9.30am on Friday.
Cyrese Moses, 20, was arrested and he was charged yesterday with two counts of attempted murder.
He was also charged with possessing a bladed article in a public place and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
Moses, of Westway in Caterham, Surrey, was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
A police spokesman said: “Investigators are continuing to appeal for witnesses or anybody with information to call the appeal line.
“They would especially like to hear from anyone who travelled past the area between 9.15am and 9.45am who may have dashcam footage of the incident or those involved.”
