A man has been charged with a string of driving offences, including drink-driving, after a crash in Strood.

Police were called to Station Road just after 2.45pm yesterday after a collision involving three vehicles.

Officers arrested a man at the scene. No serious injuries were reported.

Christopher Perring, of Hawthorn Road, Strood, has been charged with drink-driving, driving without insurance or a licence and aggravated vehicle-taking.

The 39-year-old has been bailed to appear before Medway magistrates on July 4.
