A man has died at a court in Chatham.

Police were called to Medway County Court in the High Street, just before noon on Tuesday, May 16, to a report of a concern for the welfare of a man.

Paramedics were also called but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and his next of kin have been informed.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
