A Facebook video of a man, lying on the floor, which appears to show a group of men attacking him, has been watched by more than 65,000 people.

Filmed in Rochester High Street last night the video shows the man, who is half-naked being kicked, before men who appear to be bouncers are led away by bystanders.

A man can be clearly heard saying: “I will knock you into next week you ****.”

It is not known who the men are in the video, or which pub or bar they came from.

Police sirens and lights are then seen before the video ends.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police is aware of a video circulating on social media regarding an incident in Rochester High Street, believed to have taken place on October 22.

"The incident has not been reported to police but officers are reviewing the footage and will conduct initial inquiries."
