A man appeared in court this morning charged with wounding another man.

Stuart Edwards, of no fixed address, was remanded in custody after appearing infront of magistrates in Medway.

The 48-year-old was charged on Sunday with one count of wounding with intent following an assault in Cobham Rise, Gillingham.

The assault happened at 9.44pm on Tuesday, April 25 and a man suffered injuries which required hospital treatment

The case will next be heard at Maidstone Crown Court on June 5.
