A drugs runner did not take part in the revenged murder of a man who had robbed him hours earlier, a jury has decided.
Levi Webb, 22, of Scholar’s Rise, Strood, was this morning acquitted of murder by a jury at Maidstone Crown Court.
The jury is still how considering the alternative charge of manslaughter.
Sittingbourne man, Peter Beale died when a drugs deal went bad and another man Billy Dole, 28, of Chorister Close, Hoo has already admitted murder and will be sentenced later.
Mr Beale's body was discovered underneath Rochester Bridge last year.
