Man punched and stamped on at Rochester Bar in Rochester High Street

Police are searching for a man after a victim was punched and stamped on at a town centre bar after talking to a woman.

Officers have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to after an assault at Rochester Bar in High Street, Rochester, shortly after 10.30pm on Friday, September 9.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was speaking to a woman in a corridor at the bottom of the stairs when he was punched to the floor by another man who had just left the toilets.

Police have said the suspect, who isn't known to the victim, then stamped on his head causing multiple facial injuries.
