A young man was taken to hospital yesterday (Tuesday) after suffering multiple injuries at Chatham Docks.
The 21-year-old had to be rescued from a docked container ship on the industrial estate after he sustained serious injuries to the head, chest, pelvis and limbs.
The air ambulance was scrambled to the scene at 11.56am along with two fire engines and a height vehicle to help retrieve the man.
He was taken by land ambulance to the trauma centre at Kings College Hospital in London for treatment.
It is not known how the man was injured.
