Man, 47, in hospital after assault in St Bartholomew's Lane, Rochester

A 47-year-old man has been taken to hospital after being assaulted.

The attack happened at 7.40 this morning in St Bartholomew's Lane, Rochester, and the man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

No arrests have been made but a police spokesman said inquiries are on going.
