Man taken to hospital after crash at A2 roundabout in Old Watling Street, Strood

Paramedics have taken a man to hospital after a crash at a roundabout.

Emergency services were called to the collision, involving one car, in Old Watling Street at the A2 roundabout in Strood in the early hours of this morning.

Reports suggest police, fire crews and paramedics were at the scene near the Three Crutches pub.

It is understood a man was taken to local hospital but the severity of his injuries has not been confirmed.

A police spokesman said: “We were called to a report of a one-car collision at the A2 roundabout with Old Watling Street at 3.20am today.

“Emergency services attended and officers assisted at the scene until the road was cleared at about 6.45am.”
