Delays are building on the A228 at Cuxton after a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.
Police say a man was taken to a local hospital with injuries after officers and paramedics were called to the incident.
It is currently partially blocking Rochester Road in both directions near Pilgrims Road.

Paramedics were called, with a land unit of the air ambulance, and assessed and treated the pedestrian for injuries including a head injury.
The South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed the bystander was taken to Medway Maritime Hopsital.
The incident is expected to cause congestion on the M2 at junction 2 for Strood and Rochester.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Kent Police was called at 6.33am on Thursday, April 26, to reports of a collision in Rochester Road, Halling, involving a car and a pedestrian.
"Officers attended the scene with South East Coast Ambulance Service and a man was taken to a local hospital with injuries.
"The car stopped following the collision."
