Man allegedly threatened with knife in Trafalgar Street, Gilingham, and robbed of earbuds

A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of robbing someone of their earbuds while armed with a knife.

The victim organised to meet someone to sell them a set of earbuds in Trafalgar Street in Gillingham at around 9.30pm on Monday (September 9).

When they arrived, however, it is said the owner was threatened with a knife before being robbed of the earbuds along with his mobile phone.

Police launched an investigation and arrested a 16-year-old boy yesterday (Thursday, September 12) at around 1.40am.

He has been bailed until December 16 while further inquiries take place.
