Emergency crews are dealing with a suspected chemical leak in Medway.
Firefighters, police and paramedics were called to Brompton Farm Road in Strood shortly after midday following reports chemicals had spilled from a lorry.
One man, believed to be the driver of the lorry, has been taken to hospital.
The road was closed for more than an hour, but has now reopened.
A fire services spokesman said three fire engines had been called to the incident.
He added: "It appears the chemical was a small amount of Hydrochloric acid leaking from a drum inside the vehicle.
