The owner of a tanning salon has described how she sat stunned and terrified as a masked gang unleashed a brutal attack on her shop.
Tina Goldsmith, 58, was left covered in glass, but miraculously unhurt, after the gang of three men smashed the windows and front door of Tattoos and Tanning in Walderslade Road, Chatham, at around 2pm on Saturday.
"I was sitting there in the shop yesterday lunchtime," she said. "Three guys came up with scarves around their faces, with pick axe handles and a shovel and smashed the shop windows and the front door."
"It's one of the scariest things that has happened to me," she added. "I was covered in glass because the window shattered over me."

Tina, who has worked at the shop for 18 months and took over six months ago, said she had no idea who the men were or why they attacked.
Although two of the gang had masked their faces with scarves, one had failed to completely cover his face, which is visible in CCTV footage.
Police say enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
