A McDonald’s drive-thru on an industrial estate has been closed for maintenance.
Hungry workers and customers will be left without their fast-food fix until next month.
Drivers have been seen turning into the entrance of the eatery on the Medway City Estate near Strood only to be met with the car park fenced off.
Both the restaurant and the drive-thru services were closed this week.
A McDonald’s spokesperson said: “The restaurant is currently closed for maintenance work, it is planned to be re-opened in early December.
“While the Medway City estate branch is closed, the nearest McDonald’s is Strood McDonald’s, Commercial Road, ME2 2AD, which is open 24 hours.”
In September the establishment closed for the afternoon after a rat was spotted scurrying in the premises.
It resulted in the franchise being thoroughly cleaned and was reopened the next day.
