Staff at a high street McDonald's had to barricade the door to keep anti-social youths out.
Youngsters at the Chatham fast-food chain were seen spitting at staff, throwing sauces and hurling wet floor signs around.
A customer, who did not wish to be named, filmed the ordeal which happened at around 4.30pm yesterday.
She said: "The kids were climbing up and down the stairs, picking up wet floor signs and hitting the floor with them.
"They were also throwing sauces from the second floor. The group even started on an Uber delivery guy.
"He got involved after the youths confronted a female worked who asked them to leave."
The woman explained that a young girl in the video also spat on a male staff member.
Others could also be seen on table tops and popping children's balloons.
The video was shared widely on social media and gained a huge response.
One person said: "I would be absolutely mortified if that was my son.
"He would be in there cleaning the tables and toilets by way of an apology that's for sure.
"I am lucky that I know my boy wouldn't be one of those kids."
Someone else explained how they felt for the McDonald's workers.
They commented: "It's so unfair on the staff.
"They really don't get paid enough to have to do their job and babysit a bunch of disrespectful teens that think they can do what they want when they want."
Towards the end of the video, which can't be fully published due to the ages of those involved, staff could be seen barricading the doors with a food sign.
One girl even kicked it, inches away from the worker holding it.
A spokesman for McDonald's said: "We are aware of an incident which took place at our Chatham restaurant and we are supporting the police with their investigation.
"We have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to anti-social behaviour both in and around our restaurants and we want to thank our team who acted quickly and professionally to ensure that our restaurant remained a welcoming and friendly environment for all.”
The incident comes as people living on Chatham fought back after a string of national stories slating it for being the UK's slobbiest town.
In a poll of more than 2,000 people, 64% thought the town was 'beyond rescuing', 25% said it was no worse than anywhere else while 10% were hopeful for the
