Tom Dallas aims to keep his undefeated fight record on Saturday night in London.
Dallas’ opponent is now likely to be Preston’s 30-year-old Paul Morris, after Brazilian Daniel Bispo pulled out, but trainer Andy Kidd has been putting the Medway fighter, pictured, through last-minute drills at Chatham’s St Mary’s gym and feels the heavyweight is looking better than ever.
Dallas, with 11 wins from 11 bouts, has been sparring with FTM stablemates David Price and Damian Campbell ahead of this weekend’s outing at The Troxy, Limehouse.
Kidd said: "Tom’s been doing well and the lad Campbell was suffering with a fair bit of jaw-ache after Tom caught him with a lovely uppercut.
"We’ve done a lot of gym work and the technique is improving and that’s been showing in the sparring sessions. I’m hoping for a good technical knock-out now, a bit like the one he landed on Lee Swaby."
Swaby hit the canvas in less than two minutes in May and Dallas’ last fight, a month later, saw him beat Daniil Peretyatko on points.
The fight will be screened on Sky Sports as part of the undercard for the British light-middleweight title fight between Sam Webb and Martin Concepcion.
