The Friends of the Wisdom Hospice is this year celebrating its 25th anniversary, (from April 2009 to March 2010).
Mr Bounds, said: “We thought the Friends of the Wisdom Hospice is a great cause to support.
“Everyone knows someone who has been affected by a life threatening disease like cancer.
“The hospice does some important work and seeing as the friends group is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and is pushing out all the stop to raise funds during the year, we thought we’d like to get behind their fund-rasing efforts and support them.
