Kind-hearted motorists helped out others who either got stuck going up or down a steep hill in Medway.
Some drivers found it impossible to either get up or down Walderslade Road, known locally as Waterworks Hill.
One 4x4 driver helped by using his winch to tow them up the road.
Others cleared a path in the road.
Many motorists had abandoned their vehicles by the side of the road during the evening on Wednesday (Jan 6).
Even an Arriva bus was left overnight.
Tony Mansford, 41, used his Range Rover’s winch to pull people’s vehicles up the hill.
Tony lives in Maidstone and is a plumber and electrician was in Medway to pick up some materials for his work.
He said: “This hill is one of the steepest in Kent so it wasn’t surprising cars were getting stuck.
“I do off-road driving with my friends quite a bit, so I was able to use my vehicle and its winch to tow people up the road.
“You’ve got to help people out in these sorts of situations.”
