Medway Tunnel westbound reopened after 6 vehicle pile-up

The Medway Tunnel is now fully open after a six vehicle pile-up this afternoon.

Police were called at 1.04pm after the crash on the Rochester-bound carriageway, which involved a lorry, a Volkswagen van, a Mercedes, a Toyota, a Audi A1 and a Ford.

The road was clear by 3.07pm.

Nobody is thought to have been injured in the crash.
