Two men have been arrested in connection with an assault inside a Rochester pub.

The 35 and 36 year old men both from Rochester, have been released on bail until 23 April.

A 35-year-old man from Rochester was in the George Vaults toilets when he was approached by two men and assaulted.

He suffered injuries to his face and eye.

The incident happened on 30 January between 10.30pm and 11pm.

Witnesses are being asked to come forward as part of the investigation.
