A Mini flipped onto its roof in the early hours of the morning.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Nelson Road, Gillingham, following reports of an accident.

The crash happened just after 4am.

A witness at the scene then called police.

Police and ambulance crews arrived at 4.20am, but the road has now been cleared and reopened.

The driver of the car was taken to hospital.
