Gillingham FC is set to pay tribute to a schoolboy who died in a freak car crash.
Seven-year-old Alfie Tollett was killed in a car park in his home town of Plymouth last month.
The young Gills fan had been changing his boots outside a local rugby club when a car attempting to park collided with a parked vehicle.
The collision shunted the parked car forward and trapped Alfie against his family's car, causing him fatal crush injuries.
A 55-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and has been released on bail.
A fundraiser set up for the Tollett family in the wake of the tragedy has raised almost £14,000, far exceeding an original target of £5,000.
On the fundraising page, a statement from his parents and two brothers paid tribute to the "cheeky, funny and precious little man."
"Fly high our baby..."
It read: "To our Alfie Moos, we miss you sweetheart, and we will never ever forget you.
"Fly high our baby. Thank you for the best seven years of our lives.
"All our love Mummy, Daddy, Jack and Teddy."
Today, Gillingham and Carlisle fans are being encouraged to join in with a minute's applause just before kick-off at the match at Priestfield.
A club statement said: "We would like to notify supporters that a minute's applause will be held prior to kick-off tomorrow in memory of seven-year-old supporter Alfie Tollett who tragically passed away last month.
"Members of Alfie's family will be in attendance."
