A 39-year-old man who went missing on Christmas Day has been found.

Danny Hooper was last seen in the Tobruk Way area of Chatham at 1.15pm on Tuesday.

Police issued a missing person appeal yesterday (Boxing Day) with a helicopter scrambled above Walderslade to help with the search.

But just after 3pm today officers confirmed he'd been safely located.
