A man who went missing from his home town and was thought to be in the Medway area has been found safe and well.

Liam Kavanagh, 28, from Whitstable, was last seen at 5pm in the Borstal Hill area of the town on Monday.

He was wearing a black coat, blue t-shirt, grey slim-fit jeans and white trainers.

He did not have access to a car but officers believed he may have been in Medway.

Kent Police said he was found safe last night.
