Your friends and family help make Christmas special, but three young boys are facing the festive season without their favourite toys after they went missing in Rochester.
Noah Buckenham, aged two-and-a-half, has been heartbroken since his Donald Duck cuddly toy went missing on a walk from Rochester High Street to his home in the Tideway, Rochester.
His father, Phil Buckenham, 33, retraced his steps, searching under cars and in the bushes for the missing toy but to no avail. Donald had vanished.
Mother Charlie Groves, 25, said: “It’s really sad. It’s only a toy but when it’s your child’s favourite toy it becomes part of the family. Donald is in all the photos, they’re always together.
“Please help us find him its the only present he wants this Christmas - to find his best friend.”
And what should have been a lovely family day out to the Dickensian Christmas Festival last weekend, was spoiled when seven-year-old Billy and his four-year-old brother Oliver, lost their Mario teddy.
Their mother Hayley Capon, 33, said: "As we were leaving after the Candlelit Parade it was busy and I was holding my children's hands tightly.
"My eldest son was holding both Mario and Luigi and sadly Mario slipped out of his hand and got swept off into the crowd. All efforts to find him were unsuccessful.
"Billy was terribly upset as Mario is my youngest, Oliver's, favourite and he was holding it for him and Oliver was distraught and inconsolable."
It was the first time the family, who come from Chafford Hundred in Essex, had been to the festival and were visiting their grandmother who lives in Chattenden.
Miss Capon said: "I can't talk with them about the lovely time we had that day without them thinking about their lost Mario."
The boys have had the teddies for four years and take them everywhere with them.
