A teenage girl who was reported missing from her home was found safe and well in Chatham yesterday.

Kent Police had appealed for information to trace Morgan Driscoll, 14, who was reported missing from her home in Herne Bay on Sunday.

Morgan was known to frequent Chatham High Street, particularly McDonald’s and the Pentagon Shopping Centre, and officers were concerned for her welfare.

Morgan was last seen wearing a navy blue tracksuit with the jacket tied around her waist, a dark green top, black shoes, broken sunglasses and a yellow hat with a khaki peak.

A spokesman for Police said:"Morgan was found safe and well in the Chatham area."
