A pensioner missing from her Rainham home has been found safe and well.

Police issued an urgent appeal for information this morning after Christine Manning disappeared along with her dog, a black and white collie, yesterday afternoon.

The 61-year-old was last seen by her family at around 1pm.

However, she has since contacted her family and has now been found in Whitstable.

Kent Police thanked the media and members of the public for their help.
