More than 200 cannabis plants have been seized from a house.

Police uncovered the plants from a property in Virginia Road, Gillingham after executing a search warrant at around 9.10am on Friday.

Sherie Mehj was arrested in connection with the warrant and has since been charged with producing cannabis.

The 18-year-old man, of no fixed address, appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.

At the hearing, he was further remanded in custody to appear at the same court today (Monday).
