A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash on Luton road, Chatham this evening.

The accident involved a red Ford Focus, and was outside the Turkish Delight kebab shop at 7.15pm.

The motorcyclist - believed to be in his early 20s - was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries. No-one else was harmed.

Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the queue of traffic behind the crash, and anyone who saw either the motorcycle or Ford Focus in the moments earlier.
