A motorcyclist had to be taken to hospital after a crash.

The collision happened just before 9pm last night, on Chatham Hill in Chatham.

Police officers closed the road near the roundabout for Luton Road while paramedics treated the motorcyclist.

Ambulance spokesman Rich Airey said: "The motorcyclist was assessed and treated for injuries including back pain before being taken to Medway Maritime Hospital."
