A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a collision.

The accident happened on Will Adams Way near the A2 Sovereign Boulevard, Gillingham.

Kent Police confirmed officers were called by South East Coast Ambulance Service 6.40am.

They went to the scene and assisted with traffic management.

A spokesman said the motorcyclist was taken to hospital.

Following the incident there were traffic delays in the area but they have now been cleared.
