A motorist was arrested after it is alleged he attacked a man and punched an ambulance following a car crash.
Police patrols and paramedics were called to the collision, which involved a white Ford Ranger and a white Audi A3, in Rochester Road, Cuxton, just after 9pm on Saturday (January 11).
It is said the driver of the Ranger attacked a man at the scene and then punched an ambulance.
The suspect, who is in his 30s and from Chatham, was arrested and taken into custody.
He has since been bailed to return to the police station pending further investigation.
A passenger in the Audi sustained a shoulder injury and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police officers are investigating and asking motorists and residents with private CCTV to check for relevant footage.
They are also urging anyone who saw the incident, or either vehicle before the crash, to call the appeal line on 01634 792209, quoting 46/6430/24.
