A driving instructor has posted pictures of another motorist driving the wrong way along a busy dual carriageway.
Geoff Watkins, who has been a driving instructor since 2006, spotted a car driving on the opposite side of Wood Street (A231) in Brompton just before 11am this morning.
Mr Watkins tweeted: “It was a miracle that nobody was hurt when this loon decided to drive down the wrong side of the dual carriageway at Brompton earlier.”
The 35-year-old said: "I had a pupil with me who was driving and out the corner of my eye I saw a vehicle driving in the same direction on the opposite side of the road.
"I see things everyday that would shock other drivers but it's been a while since I saw someone driving on the wrong side of the road."
He added: "I didn't see how the driver got to be on the wrong side but I think they may have pulled out of a side road near the roundabout."
Earlier this year Mr Watkins issued a warning to parents after a child narrowly avoided injury when he ran into the path of a car.
He captured dashcam footage of a yongster walking out into the road thrpugh a gap between a parked van and car on James Street, near Oasis Academy Skinner Street in March.
