Busy mum Lisa Samwell is looking forward to completing the third and final leg of her marathon challenge.
Miss Samwell, 38, has been in training for months for the effort to raise money for a trio of charities.
She ran the Brighton Marathon on April 12 in 6hr 22min in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital.
And last Sunday she travelled to Manchester to compete in the marathon there for Cancer Research UK, finishing in less than five and a half hours.
Her run on Sunday will be in aid of Haven Breast Cancer Support Centres, which offer practical support, counselling and therapies.
Her inspiration for the marathon trio was her mother Ronny, who died five years ago of pneumonia, aged 59, after breast and bone cancer.
Miss Samwell, of Upnor, said: “The Manchester run was hard but I really enjoyed everything about it, it really was a great run.
“To do it in five hours and 26 minutes was even better, I’m definitely going to do that one again. And I am very excited for this Sunday.”
Miss Samwell, of Upnor, is also hosting a charity evening at Lordswood Leisure Centre on Friday, July 3, for £10 a ticket. Email lisasamwell@yahoo.co.uk
