Parking prices have been slashed at Chatham’s NCP car park.
A full day parking at the car park in Richard Street has been cut from £5.50 to £2.50 and a new weekly permit has been introduced at the cost of £10.
There are also new hourly charges. It now costs 70p for one hour, £1.10 for two, £1.20 for three, £1.30 for four and £1.40 for five.
William Barron, NCP’s Business Support Manager for Chatham, said: “Our goal is to give a positive experience to every customer using an NCP car park. By cutting our tariffs in Chatham, not only will motorists benefit but we also hope it will entice shoppers from outside the area into the town centre, thereby boosting the local economy.”
