kmfm has done it again - given one listener the best start to their weekend with a thousand pounds in cash.

Their end-of-the-month competition, called Thousand Pound Friday, sees listeners enter to win the jackpot that is then hand delivered to them.

There are no questions, just 'enter to win.'

July's winner was Ricky Ribbins from Rainham. He told Rob Wills on kmfm Drivetime that he only texted in at 4pm 'on the off chance.'

The kmfm Street Team then hand-delivered him the money this evening.

The winning on kmfm continues next week with a chance to win the Best Day Ever at Dreamland on kmfm Breakfast with Garry and Laura.
