When it comes to Platinum Jubilee celebrations this ice cream company has got it licked.
Staff at Rainham-based Ellinor's Ice Cream have created their Jubilee Cornet to commemorate the historic occasion.
Their design features a 99 with a royal twist of red, white and blue sprinkles and a cone baring Her Majesty's face.
And the popular cone is selling like hot cakes to customers young and old alike with 2,000 already being scooped before the bank holiday break.
The family-run business is gearing up for one of its busiest periods since it was founded by dad Mark Ellinor 15 years ago.
They have been booked for numerous street parties, picnics and village fetes across Medway and Sittingbourne over the next four days.
Daughter Bonita, 25, said: "Everyone is so excited. We see so many smiley faces. We have seen a real change in mood since lockdown. Children still run outside as soon as they hear our bell. We know we are going to be so busy, but we really enjoy it."
Her mum Diane came up with the idea of the Jubilee Cone and designed the logo.
After Mark bought his first van he persuaded Diane to get another one and they now have a fleet of four vehicles.
Bonita added: "We are very proud of her. We are big royal fans and drink our tea from our Queen mugs.
Five years ago Mark was invited to provide ice creams at a garden party at Buckingham Palace which was a "very proud moment" for the family.
As well as visiting schools, weddings and other special occasions they also hire out the vans for film and television sets.
Bonita said: "We have been to Pinewood Studios where our ice cream has featured and our ice cream is due to be shown in a new film. But I'm not allowed to say anything about that yet."
