Rehman Chishti MP has been asked by the Prime Minister to serve as the Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) to the Minister of State for Education, Nick Gibb MP.

The Gillingham and Rainham MP said he was delighted at the offer and looked forward to the challenges of the role.

He added: “I relish the opportunity to support the Minister in Government to continue to improve education and the life chances of young people.”
