ONE of 10 prostitutes made the subject of anti-social behaviour orders last week appeared in court today accused of breaching the restrictions placed on her.

Tracey Drew was one of a group of women placed under the ASBOS to stop them soliciting in parts of Chatham and Rochester.

Medway Council and Medway Police were granted the order by Medway magistrates last Wednesday. Drew, 29, of Ordnance Street, Chatham, appeared again before Medway magistrates this morning. Her case was adjourned until December 6. No plea has yet been formally entered.

She was released on conditional bail that she is not seen in the street in public between 9pm and 6am in areas which include Medway's regular prostitute haunts.

The areas Drew has to stay away from at night include Chatham and Rochester High Streets between Medway Street and Star Hill plus New Road between Manor Road and City Way.

The other banned areas under the bail conditions are Victoria Gardens, Fort Pill Hill, Manor Road, Hammond Hill, Gundulph Road, Hospital Lane, Bingley Road, Five Bells Lane, Nags Head Lane and Medway Street.
