You have still got time to nominate a hospital worker or volunteer who you feel went that extra mile.
The Medway Messenger has teamed up with Medway NHS Foundation Trust to launch a readers’ Hospital Hero Award.
We want to hear from anyone who feels someone at the Trust has gone above and beyond the call of duty to deliver outstanding care or treatment.
The accolade will be part of the annual staff awards, now in its 10th year. This is the first time readers of the Medway Messenger are being given the chance to nominate someone for the Hospital Hero Award.
The winner will be chosen by the trust’s Improving Working Lives team and Medway Messenger editor Bob Bounds.
The Medway Messenger Hospital Hero award will be presented at the trust’s annual prize-giving ceremony at Priestfield Stadium, Gillingham, on Friday, April 20.
Write to Hospital Hero, Communications Department, Postgraduate Centre, Medway Maritime Hospital, Gillingham, Kent, ME7 5NY. You can also email communications@medway.nhs.uk
Include the staff member’s or volunteer’s full name, department they work in and an explanation of why you think they deserve the award.
The deadline for nominations to be received has now been extended to Friday, March 2.
