Police say a girl who was missing from her home in the Towns, has been found safe and well.

Officers revealed 16-year-old Georgie Cottrell had last been seen in the Pheasant Road area of Chatham, on Sunday, January 14.

This morning, (Thursday), police said the teenager has been found safe and well.

Lucy Hurdle, a spokesman for Kent Police, said: "Kent Police would like to thank all those who assisted with their inquiries."
