The ski centre in Medway is closed for a second day due to snow.

The Chatham Ski and Snowboard Centre in Capstone Road, posted a message on its website yesterday to say it was closing because of the weather.

The message said staff were struggling to get to the site and its car park was inaccessible.

The Facebook post has been shared shared across many Medway social media pages, with may people seeing the irony of its closure.

Lessons were also cancelled and are set to be rescheduled.

This evening, its website confirmed the centre, which also has a toboggan ride down the longest track in the country, was still closed.

It said: "The centre is closed due to the weather conditions and lack of emergency services available."
