A popular outdoor swimming pool is almost ready to open in time for summer.
Medway Council has been taking advantage of the hot weather this week and painting and prepping The Strand Leisure Park, in Gillingham.
However, visitors will still need to wait a few more weeks before it is fully ready for the season.
The outdoor pool, which is operated by the unitary authority, will be opening on weekends from May 25.
It will then be open seven days a week during the school summer holidays.
There will be sessions from 10.30am to 1.30pm, and from 2.30pm to 5:30pm
The lido is Medway’s only open air swimming pool and also features a paddling area, lazy river and sun bathing areas.
It first opened more than 125 years ago in June 1896.
