Brad Potter scored twice as Chatham came from behind to beat Dulwich 3-2 on Tuesday and move into the top six in Ryman League, Division 1 South.
Aaron Firth got the other goal in a third win of the season that pleased boss Paul Foley (pictured).
He said: "It was a pleasing result after a disappointing display at Walton Casuals and a spirited performance against a dangerous Dulwich side.
"That spirit went missing in the second half on Saturday, so I wasn’t surprised to see such a positive response.
"Dulwich will be up the right end of the table come May. They were much the better side for the first 20 minutes but got a helping hand from the official.
"We changed our formation to stop them getting out from full back areas and it worked because we were on top after that." Foley, recalled Joe Fuller following a one-match but Carlton Murray-Palmer put Hamlet ahead and Sol Pinnock had an effort ruled out for offside before Firth pounced to put Chats level in first-half stoppage time.
Pinnock had another effort ruled out soon after the break, before Chatham went in front, Potter heading home Nick Hegley’s free-kick.
Tom Lancaster put Hamlet back on level terms with just over 20 minutes left but Chats responded immediately as Potter headed in Matt Solly’s corner.
Solly misses Saturday's re-arranged game at Sittingbourne because of suspension, with Lee Maskell set to replace him.
David Hunt is struggling with neck problem and abductor strains.
