A cyclist has been injured in a collision with a car in Rochester.

The crash happened at a busy junction on the A2 Star Hill just before 7pm.

The woman riding the bike suffered leg injuries in the accident and was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.

Two ambulances were called to the scene and the road was partially blocked.

The accident is causing long delays in the town with traffic backed up to Luton Arches.
