A young woman has spoken of her shock after a man was spying on her in a restaurant toilet.

The 21-year-old woman was in the Frankie & Benny’s toilets at Medway Valley Leisure Park when she saw a man peering at her.

She said: “My sister had said to me: ‘I think I just saw a bald head over the door’, but I didn’t think anything of it.

"But I looked up when I went in and I just saw this bald-headed man looking at me.

"It was such a shock that I screamed and told him to get out.”

The man, described as aged 30 to 40 and of Indian appearance, was then said to have run out.

A Frankie & Benny’s spokesman said: “The next day we had the carer of the man come in to explain what had happened and that one of his patients had become separated from a group.

“Nothing like this has ever happened before and we do apologise for what happened.”
