A person has been taken to hospital following a crash on the M2.
The motorway was partially blocked following the collision which involved two vehicles just before junction 3 for Chatham and Rochester.
Two lanes were shut at Blue Bell Hill, causing long delays, but have since been reopened.
There were approximately 3.5 miles of congestion on approach causing 30-minute delays above normal travel time.
The police were at the scene of the crash and the delays have since cleared.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service confirmed crews were called shortly after 4:30pm to the incident.
“Crews attended the scene and took one person to the Medway Maritime Hospital for further medical treatment,” they added.
