A Gillingham brute has been jailed for more than five years after a vile sex attack on a woman.
Aaron Benton groped his victim - and later attacked three emergency workers at Medway Maritime Hospital, in Gillingham.
He appeared at Maidstone Crown Court by prison video link form HMP Elmley and admitted charges of assault by penetration, and three assaults.
Prosecutor Martin Hooper told the court the 23-year-old, of no fixed address, had gone to the hospital and caused a row.
Staff called the police and an officer tried to calm down Benton, who had become aggressive and they had to restrained him.
Mr Hooper added after being restrained the offender kicked out and struck an officer.
Later, at the police station, he took off his underpants and wrapped them around his neck.
Judge Martin Huseyin jailed him for 57 months for the sex assault, and six months for the assaults on the emergency workers, and ordered them to run consecutively.
After sentencing, PC Aaron Humphries, Kent Police's investigating officer for the case, said: "The severity of Benton's offending is shown by the sentence and I am pleased that he is no longer able to harm the victim."
