The event will take place on the Great Lines Heritage Park in Gillingham on Sunday, starting at 2pm.

Organisers said: “The events in Gaza and the occupied territories have been relentless, and we invite people to join us on Sunday.

“Let’s come together and remember those in Gaza who have lost their lives.”

A two-minutes silence will be observed to remember those killed in the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.

Organisers insist this will be a peaceful event, with participants invited to bring chairs and picnics and perhaps enjoy a game of rounders.

There is parking in Lock Street and Balmoral Gardens.

The group has previously held protest marches through Chatham town.

But this time, Matt Broadley of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign said: “Bring food to share - or just what you want to eat yourself. It’s entirely up to you!”
